Kannaland Local Municipality is a local municipality in Western Cape, covering 4 765 square kilometres. It falls within the Garden Route District Municipality. It takes in the towns and settlements of Calitzdorp, Ladismith, Vanwyksdorp and Zoar.

Census 2022 counted 31 986 residents, making it the 28th most populous of the 30 municipalities in Western Cape and 238th of 257 nationally. That works out to 6.7 people per square kilometre. The population is very sparsely distributed across a large area. There are 8 686 households, averaging 3.7 people each. 25.8% of residents are under 15 and 8.6% are over 65. Among residents aged 20 and over, 6.0% hold a higher education qualification and 3.2% have had no schooling.
