Laingsburg Local Municipality is a local municipality in Western Cape, covering 8 784 square kilometres. It falls within the Central Karoo District Municipality. It takes in the towns and settlements of Laingsburg and Matjiesfontein.

Census 2022 counted 11 366 residents, making it the 30th most populous of the 30 municipalities in Western Cape and 254th of 257 nationally. That works out to 1.3 people per square kilometre. The population is very sparsely distributed across a large area. There are 3 314 households, averaging 3.4 people each. 24.6% of residents are under 15 and 7.1% are over 65. Among residents aged 20 and over, 6.0% hold a higher education qualification and 5.9% have had no schooling.
