Dikgatlong Local Municipality is a local municipality in Northern Cape, covering 7 316 square kilometres. It falls within the Frances Baard District Municipality. It takes in the towns and settlements of Barkly West, Delportshoop and Windsorton.

Census 2022 counted 56 967 residents, making it the 13th most populous of the 31 municipalities in Northern Cape and 216th of 257 nationally. That works out to 7.8 people per square kilometre. The population is very sparsely distributed across a large area. There are 14 406 households, averaging 4.0 people each. 29.2% of residents are under 15 and 5.9% are over 65. Among residents aged 20 and over, 3.1% hold a higher education qualification and 8.5% have had no schooling.

The council has 15 seats across 5 parties, with ANC holding the largest share at 8 seats (53.3%). ANC governs the municipality. Mr Kenny Jacobs () serves as executive mayor (ANC), and Mrs B Tsinyane is acting municipal manager.
