Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality is a local municipality in Limpopo, covering 3 713 square kilometres. It falls within the Sekhukhune District Municipality. It takes in the towns and settlements of Groblersdal and Roossenekal.

Census 2022 counted 288 049 residents, making it the 15th most populous of the 27 municipalities in Limpopo and 84th of 257 nationally. That works out to 77.6 people per square kilometre. Population is spread thinly across the area. There are 79 136 households, averaging 3.6 people each. 31.5% of residents are under 15 and 7.7% are over 65. Among residents aged 20 and over, 6.7% hold a higher education qualification and 17.9% have had no schooling.

The council has 61 seats across 8 parties, with ANC holding the largest share at 37 seats (60.7%). ANC governs the municipality. Mr Magetle David Tladi serves as executive mayor (ANC), and Ms Reginah Makgata is municipal manager.
