Tsantsabane Local Municipality is a local municipality in Northern Cape, covering 18 289 square kilometres. It falls within the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality. It takes in the towns and settlements of Beeshoek and Postmasburg.

Census 2022 counted 30 969 residents, making it the 16th most populous of the 31 municipalities in Northern Cape and 239th of 257 nationally. That works out to 1.7 people per square kilometre. The population is very sparsely distributed across a large area. There are 9 381 households, averaging 3.3 people each. 21.5% of residents are under 15 and 6.3% are over 65. Among residents aged 20 and over, 5.1% hold a higher education qualification and 6.0% have had no schooling.

The council has 13 seats across 4 parties, with ANC holding the largest share at 7 seats (53.8%). ANC governs the municipality. Ms Helena English serves as executive mayor (ANC), and Mr Gaonyadiwe H Mathobela is municipal manager.
