Joe Gqabi District Municipality is a district municipality in Eastern Cape, covering 25 617 square kilometres. It coordinates 3 local municipalities: Elundini, Senqu and Walter Sisulu. It takes in 14 recognised towns and settlements, among them Aliwal North, Burgersdorp, Ekhephini (Barkly East), Jamestown, Lady Grey, Nqanqarhu (Maclear), Oviston, Rhodes.
